The Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park (Parque nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido) was one of Spain's first protected national parks. The Monte Perdido massif (with an altitude of 3,355 m) is where the valleys of Ordesa, Pineta, Añisclo and EscuaÃn derive from. The area is a landscape of contrasts.
